This 22 foot bowrider features an 180 HP electric outboard, with a top speed estimated to be 40 mph. The H2e boasts a marine digital display, with a dual touch screen that provides access to entertainment controls and a navigation system. According to their website, the boat will also include an automatic logbook - recording items like trip history and battery status. The boat is equipped with two 700 volt battery packs, with a charging system that can plug into a dock shore power system.

ACEL Power, based in Vancouver, has a mission to “To design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that redefine the marine industry, elevating it to new heights of integration, intelligence, safety and sustainability, and providing unparalleled user experiences.”

Initial offerings of 50 and 75 HP models are planned. Some features mentioned on the company’s website include:

  • Protection for battery overloading and overheating

If you happen to be in South Florida this week, swing by the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 25 to October 29th, 2023. With an expected 1,300+ boats to be on display, this could help sure the end of the season blues for boaters.
