We’ve covered this boat in a previous issue, it appears the company continues launch activities. The CEO of this company was formerly with Tesla - there are at least two electric boat companies being started by ex-Tesla or ex-SpaceX employees. Reservations are open for ordering an R30.

The E1 Series Pilot Academy offers a comprehensive training program designed for individuals passionate about racing electric powerboats. The program is divided into three stages. It starts with a two-day Basic Powerboat Mastery course, where participants learn foundational handling and safety techniques. Following this, the High-Speed Racing Techniques course, spanning three days, delves into advanced skills like racing strategies, cornering, and overtaking. The final stage, the Elite RaceBird Piloting course, allows trainees to master the innovative RaceBird vessels.
Upon completion, pilots demonstrate their abilities in simulated races. Successful candidates have the chance to join the E1 Race Series, competing in the world’s first electric powerboat championship.
