⚓️ ARC COAST ANNOUNCED
Arc Boats has announced the Arc Coast, a 24-foot all-electric center console boat focused on performance, comfort, and sustainability. Scheduled for release in 2026, the Arc Coast builds on the company’s existing technology and introduces a design suited to leisure and fishing alike.
The boat measures 24 feet in length and is powered by a 400-horsepower electric motor. It uses a 226 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the same as the Arc Sport model. The Arc Coast seats up to 10 passengers and features a fiberglass hull.
The Arc Coast uses a centre console layout with an open deck design. A full-beam integrated swim platform includes an auto-extending swim step. The layout provides both a bow lounge and transom sunpad for seated passengers.
The helm has a dual-touchscreen interface that replaces traditional gauges. Integrated software provides real-time diagnostics, navigation tools, and fish-finding capability. Over-the-air updates support ongoing system improvements and feature upgrades.
The 226 kWh battery delivers instant torque, quiet operation, and low maintenance requirements compared to gas-powered boats. The system produces zero emissions.
Mitch Lee, CEO and co-founder of Arc Boats, said: “People love center consoles, but gas engines have held back their full potential. The Arc Coast is what you get when you start from scratch: quiet, exhilarating performance powered by advanced software, paired with an ownership experience free from many of the headaches common with today’s gas boats.”

🖌️ELECTRIC OUTBOARD
Nawismarine, a Turkish company specializing in electric marine propulsion, has introduced a new product under its modular New Stream system. The latest model is the NS-OUT 16 kW TrimTab+Nozzle, an electric outboard motor designed for mid-sized vessels requiring efficient thrust, maneuverability, and flexible installation options. The system is built around a 16 kW motor and includes a Kord Nozzle for improved directional control, along with an integrated trim tab that helps optimize vessel trim and hydrodynamic performance.
The unit is designed with adjustability in mind. The pod length can be customized between 1350 mm and 1950 mm depending on the vessel’s transom configuration. The pod itself varies from 500 mm to 700 mm, while the speed or thruster propeller measures between 500 mm and 560 mm in diameter. A 470 mm upper mount and 170 mm connecting arm complete the modular setup, which can be adapted to a range of hull types.
Nawismarine has developed a full electric propulsion ecosystem, with solutions including sail drives, stern drives, fixed pods, and steerable pod drives. Their systems integrate real-time battery management, vector control for precise maneuvering, and LiFePO₄ battery packs tailored to each vessel. These systems have already been deployed on projects such as the Gölbaşı-2 electric catamaran, a 17-meter, 28-ton passenger vessel powered by twin Nawismarine systems.
With the NS-OUT 16 kW TrimTab+Nozzle, Nawismarine reinforces its focus on scalable, all-electric marine propulsion for a wide range of commercial and recreational vessels. The company continues to design and manufacture all core components in-house from its facilities in Turkey, supporting a growing demand for sustainable boating solutions.

⚙️ EVOY APP
Evoy has introduced a new mobile app designed to enhance the electric boating experience. The app offers real-time insights into boat performance, energy usage, and location, providing users with comprehensive control over their vessels.
Key features of the Evoy app include GPS tracking, charging management, sensor data monitoring, and trip logging. Users can schedule charging sessions remotely and set smart charging preferences. The app also tracks trip statistics such as speed, distance, and CO₂ savings. Upcoming features include CO₂ impact assessments and geofencing capabilities.
The app's interface provides a visual cue when vessel data is outdated, ensuring users are aware of the current status of their boats. Additional functionalities include the ability to share boat access and view charging insights. The app is compatible with iOS devices and is available for download on the App Store.
Evoy's commitment to sustainable boating is evident in their development of high-output electric motor systems ranging from 120 to 400 horsepower. These systems are designed for both new builds and retrofits, aiming to accelerate the transition to zero-emission boating.
By integrating advanced digital tools with powerful electric propulsion systems, Evoy is setting a new standard in the maritime industry. The Evoy app exemplifies this approach, offering users an intuitive platform to manage and monitor their electric boats effectively.
🌊 ZEROJET TENDER (UPDATED)
Last week (here) we wrote about the ZeroJet tender. Many thanks to the manufacturer for providing the following updated specifications on the power system for this vessel:
The CS40 is now powered by an Electric Yacht Quiet 20 motor, a 400 Amp propulsion battery bank, and 1000-watt solar panels. Under sail, 6 knots regenerate propulsion bank.
