⚙️ OUTBOARDS

Mercury Marine offers a range of electric outboard engines, including the Avator 7.5e, Avator 20e, and Avator 35e.

The Avator 7.5e is designed for small boats and delivers speed and acceleration performance similar to a 3.5hp internal combustion outboard. It is powered by a 1 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be easily swapped with a spare battery for extended range.

The Avator 20e and 35e are larger and more powerful, with the 35e generating acceleration comparable to a 9.9hp FourStroke combustion engine. These electric outboards are known for their quiet operation, zero direct emissions, and minimal maintenance. This system also features modular batteries - with a range of options. The motor mechanism itself is described on their website as an “Industry-first transverse flux motor technology delivers immediate torque and reliable, efficient power”.

These outboards integrate seamlessly into a complete propulsion system and can be managed and monitored from a digital display. The electric outboards are also designed to be more power-dense and 63% quieter than comparable combustion engine outboards. The Avator range offers a fuel-free and efficient alternative for powering small and large boats, providing a practical and environmentally friendly boating experience.
