🌊 WATERSPORTS
CNET’s Jesse Orrall took the sold out Arc One, from Arc Boats, out for a test drive. It looked epic! Jesse covers the details of the Arc One: up to 12 passenger seating, touchscreen display (navigation, camera views, music, and more), two battery packs (220 kWh), 500 hp motor, a pop-up ski pylon, and a governed top speed of 40 mph. Range for the Arc One, depending on use, will cover a 3 - 5 hour session. Safety is a priority for the battery system, with significant data monitoring to ensure proper system operation.
In the video, Mitch Lee (co-founder of Arc Boats) mentioned they are working on their next model - with more details coming in the future. They are taking reservations here.

🏄🏾♂️ EFOIL
Interested in learning to E-Foil? Ian Swaby from the Observer covers the experience of trying an e-foil for the first time. He compares the experience to the hoverboards in the movie “Back to the Future”. Squeezing the hand-held throttle, riders start on their knees, then move to their feet after getting moving. The magic happens as the board lifts above the water, via the underwater hydrofoil.
Lessons to learn e-foiling last ~90 minutes. Some people master the board in under 20 minutes.
