The boat is 30 feet (9.1 meters) long and has a beam of 8.5 feet (2.6 meters). It comes in three configurations: open-top, hardtop, and a version with a cabin.

The field is set for the inaugural E1 race series, with the first race planned for February 2, 3 in Jeddah Saudi Arabia Beach (if you happen to be in the area, it appears passes to the event are free). Celebrities like Tom Brady and Rafael Nada (among other celebrities) are part of the 8 teams.

The E1 e-boat race series is the world's first electric raceboat championship sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), the global governing body of power boating. It holds an exclusive license with the UIM to promote a racing series on the water powered solely by electricity. The championship was established to create a new, competitive on-water racing proposition based on clean technologies to protect the waters. The E1 Series features high-performance electric boats competing in various classes, aiming to drive positive change to protect coastal areas and promote sustainable electric watercraft to reduce environmental impact.
