Here's a closer look at what this innovative electric wake boat has to offer:
- Battery Pack: 226 kWh, providing the power behind its impressive capabilities.
- Motor: 570 horsepower (425 kW), delivering more than double the torque of most premium wake boats, with 1,165 lb.ft (1,579.5 Nm) continuous and 1,990 lb.ft peak torque.
- Charging: Supports Level 1, 2, and DC fast charging, with overnight charging capabilities on a Level 2 AC plug.
- Speed: Optimal cruising speed in the upper-20s mph, with a software-restricted top speed of 40 mph. (Editors note - Hoping Arc pushes this up to 43 or 44 mph to allow for the occasional barefoot run).
- Capacity: Designed to accommodate up to 15 passengers comfortably.
- Technology: Equipped with advanced in-house software, two displays at the helm for control, and the capability for over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- Additional Features: Includes a retractable hardtop tower, JL Audio speaker system, bow and stern thrusters for easier docking, and is notably cleaner and quieter compared to gas-powered boats.
The Arc Sport is not only a testament to the potential of electric vehicles (EVs) in the marine sector but also an example of how advanced technology can create more sustainable and enjoyable boating experiences. The boat is designed for 4-5 hours of active use on a single charge, with the possibility of all-day cruising at lower speeds. The Arc Sport will be one of the most advanced wake boat to hit the waters, offering unprecedented performance and a leap towards modernizing the marine industry.
