⚓️ PWC
In the evolving landscape of personal watercraft (PWC), the Valo Hyperfoil emerges as a groundbreaking addition, promising a fusion of high performance, innovative design, and environmental sustainability. Developed by Boundary Layer Technologies, the Valo Hyperfoil is positioned to redefine the standards of electric water mobility through its unique hydrofoiling capabilities, offering an unprecedented blend of speed, efficiency, and exhilaration. The Valo Hyperfoil is scheduled for initial release in 2024, with full production in 2025. This will be an interesting product to follow.

The Valo Hyperfoil distinguishes itself with its ultra-performance credentials, driven by an 80 kW (approximately 108 horsepower) electric motor. Unlike traditional jetskis that combat water resistance, the Valo Hyperfoil is designed to rise approximately two feet above the water's surface on extendable hydrofoils (the foils are retractable). This feature significantly reduces drag, enabling the craft to achieve speeds up to 42 mph, making it one of the fastest production electric boats as well as the world's fastest production hydrofoiling craft. The website indicates 2.3 hours of operation time on a charge.

Navier boats is busy expanding their fleet. Take a look at their X (formerly Twitter) post from this past week.
Assembly in the factory! Now being into the weeds of our first batch of production, I can tell you first hand that even for a small company like @navierboat, production of a 30 ft vessel like this is a 10X more complex problem (compared to building the prototype!) - esp. as you… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
