🏄🏾♂️ EFOIL
Lift Foils has introduced the LIFT5 and LIFTX, two new eFoil models that push the boundaries of performance, design, and versatility. With a focus on refined hydrodynamics, enhanced connectivity, and simplified assembly, these models mark a significant leap forward for riders of all experience levels.
The LIFT5 represents the next generation of Lift’s signature eFoil, offering a streamlined shape and improved responsiveness. The board features a double concave bottom for smooth touchdowns and sharper chine rails that enhance carving ability. The updated carbon fiber construction improves durability while keeping weight low. A key innovation in this model is the Lift Connect System (LCS), a tool-free attachment mechanism that allows users to quickly assemble and disassemble the eFoil. The mast and propulsion system attach seamlessly, making it easier to swap components and transport the board.
Lift has also introduced an advanced wireless system that enhances the connection between the hand controller and the eFoil. The new controller provides real-time feedback on speed, battery life, and system status. A single-button startup simplifies the riding experience, ensuring that users can get on the water quickly. The propulsion system features an upgraded motor that delivers higher torque and increased efficiency, allowing for better acceleration and smoother rides.
Safety has been a major focus in the development of the LIFT5. The eFoil’s new battery system includes a double-walled casing with real-time monitoring features. Tilt detection, thermal regulation, and water ingress prevention mechanisms ensure that the battery operates safely under various conditions. The enhanced battery life provides up to 100 minutes of ride time, depending on the rider’s weight, wing setup, and riding style.
For riders seeking a different experience, Lift has launched the LIFTX, a hybrid eFoil that blends powered riding with traditional surf foiling. Designed in collaboration with shaper Sean Ordoñez, the LIFTX takes inspiration from classic surfboards, featuring a lightweight design that prioritizes agility and responsiveness. Unlike conventional eFoils, the LIFTX allows riders to transition seamlessly between electric-powered cruising and wave riding. This unique capability expands the possibilities of foil surfing, making it a versatile option for riders who enjoy both styles.
The LIFTX is constructed using a specialized carbon fiber layup that reduces weight without sacrificing strength. The model features a newly designed fuselage that optimizes stability and efficiency in both powered and unpowered modes. The board is available in different sizes, allowing riders to select the best fit for their skill level and riding preferences.
Both models come equipped with Lift’s latest wing and mast configurations, providing a customizable experience. Riders can choose from multiple front wing and tail wing combinations to tailor their ride to specific conditions and riding styles. The high aspect ratio wings enhance glide efficiency, while the smaller, more maneuverable wings enable sharper turns and increased responsiveness.
Lift Foils has set the shipping date for the LIFT5 and LIFTX on April 15, 2025. With these releases, the company continues to refine the eFoil experience, offering riders more control, performance, and versatility than ever before. Whether looking for the ultimate eFoil cruising experience or a model that bridges the gap between eFoiling and surf foiling, the LIFT5 and LIFTX cater to a wide range of riders, reinforcing Lift’s position as a leader in the eFoil industry.
