⚙️ OUTBOARDS

The Evoy Storm 300+ is a high-performance electric outboard motor developed by Norwegian company Evoy. It is among the most powerful electric outboards available, designed to provide strong performance and support sustainable boating. The motor delivers 225 kW, equivalent to approximately 300 horsepower, with a torque output of 550 Nm. It weighs around 385 kg and is compatible with 800-volt systems.

The motor offers battery capacity options, including a standard 126 kWh configuration with two 63 kWh battery packs and an extended capacity of up to 378 kWh. It supports high-capacity DC fast charging.

In 2024, Evoy introduced the Storm 300+ to the U.S. market as part of its collaboration with Finnish boat manufacturer Axopar. This partnership launched the AX/E line of electric boats, including the AX/E 25, which will be available in 2025. These boats combine the performance of the Evoy Storm 300+ with reduced noise, zero emissions, and strong torque capabilities. The AX/E line aims to meet the growing demand for electric propulsion in recreational boating.

Seabird Technologies is a marine technology company focused on developing innovative electric propulsion systems and high-performance all-electric foiling race boats for the E1 World Championship. Their work is transforming the maritime sector by introducing low-carbon and efficient alternatives to traditional propulsion methods.

One of their key innovations is the RaceBird, the world's first all-electric foiling race boat. The RaceBird is specifically designed for competitive racing in the E1 World Championship, showcasing a combination of agility, speed, and sustainability. The boat is powered by a 150 kW electric motor and achieves speeds of up to 50 knots (93 km/h or 58 mph). Its hydrofoil design allows it to lift above the water, reducing drag and improving efficiency.
