The E1 Series is an innovative electric boat racing championship that showcases high-speed competition with a focus on sustainability. This series is the brainchild of Alejandro Agag, founder of Formula E, aiming to promote electric mobility in marine sports. The E1 Series features visually uniform "RaceBird" motorboats and involves high-profile team leaders such as Rafael Nadal and Tom Brady, among others.

The inaugural season of the E1 Series began with its first race on February 2-3, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and it is set to conclude in Hong Kong on November 9-10, 2024. The races are held in stunning coastal locations, and the format includes practice sessions, qualifying rounds, knockout races, and several heats leading to a final showdown.

As for the rules, each event takes place over two days, involving mixed-gender teams. Each team consists of one female and one male pilot, emphasizing gender equality in sports. The competition's structure aims to ensure that the races are not only about speed but also strategy and pilot skill, with the fastest teams progressing to determine the event's winner.
